Amie is the founder and president of Beyond Better Strategy and Coaching. For over 25 years she has been partnering with founders and leaders to develop strategy and scale themselves and their organizations.

During that time she led two urban tech-fintech startups, successfully getting the first acquired. She was retained by RingGo, the acquirer, as US President.

Those and other executive roles all took place in the course of a 3 decade career as a strategy consultant and executive coach.

She was a partner in Framework Consulting for 7 years and developed much of the intellectual property for the firm. Framework continues to be a valued partner of Beyond Better. The two firms often collaborate on large engagements.  

Since first entering the field in 1997, Amie has led public seminars for over 20,000 people, done one-on-one and group coaching with thousands of professionals, and provided C-Suite executive coaching to business leaders of everything from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups where her focus is now. 

The range of consulting engagements is vast and includes multiple industries: software, advertising, international sovereign banking, NGOs, media and e-commerce among them.

Amie is obsessed with critical thinking and how it applies to strategy, leadership and organizational culture. For the last 9 years she has been focused on working with the founders and senior leaders of VC-funded technology companies.  The aim is two-fold:  Grow the business beyond expectations; and scale the people to meet the moment.

Amie attended Bennington College and Harvard University as an undergraduate, and has two masters degrees, one from the London School of Economics in Social Philosophy and Management and another from Florida International University. She is the author of “Powered by Principle: Using Core Values to Build World-Class Organizations”.
